Film Making

The film making event held on 30th August was another success, thanks to the help of free lance film maker, editor and workshop leader,
Emma Puente, and Flavia Cheshire of Shropshire broadplaces (not forgetting our own broadplace volunteers) and of course all those film makers who took part.

Four short films were made about Leebotwood and the surrounding area, including a focus on the church, Acton Burnell Manor House (Castle), and the contrast between the old and new in the village iteself.

The films were transferred to computer, edited, and formatted for viewing at the end of a very productive and creative day.

There will be a follow up event on the 2nd October, in case you missed out this time!

Previous Events
Small business and personal website creators were able to find out how to design their own sites and 'publish’ them on the internet. Practical demonstrations for creating and 'uploading' pages were given, together with tips for optimsing sites for search engines.

For more information about future web design evenings contact Malcolm on 01694 751470.

Previous Animation Workshop
The animation workshop held last year was a great success, and at least 5 short animations were produced in the 3 hour session. Replicating stop frame animation techniques, digital cameras and animation software were used to make the short films and there was a lot of visual creativity in the finished works. Thank you to Martin and Flavia for your help.
